Last night I attended the Echo Aventura party celebrating the opening of their sales office. With an expected completion date of December 2015, the 190 luxury residences by developer PMG-Property Markets Group will include 18 penthouse units with private rooftop terraces and plunge pools. The conceptual design for Echo Aventura is by Carlos Ott and interiors are designed by Yabu Pushelberg. For more detailed information about Echo Aventura, contact me here to request the full brochure including floor-plans.
The launch party was attended by PMG founder Kevin Maloney, as well as developers Gil Dezer and Eric Trump. The party started in the new sales office where the wine bars intermingled with sample displays for the planned interiors of the Echo Aventura residences. In the center of the room, an architectural model gave us a glimpse of the summer kitchens on every balcony, bayfront infinity pool and expansive gardens planned for Echo Aventura.
Later we moved outside to the huge tent, complete with live band and an ice sculpture called “PMG City” with glistening representations of Kevin Maloney’s buildings. Dotted along the walkways were ice cream carts, coffee vendors, and a sushi station. The center table offered an array of nibbles including crab cake sliders and shrimp appetizers served in tiny champagne-like glasses.
The event was scheduled to end at 9:00 p.m., and while I noticed Carlos Rosso and a few others leaving when I did – given the number of people still packed under the tent – I have no doubt hundreds continued to dance late into the balmy night at Echo Aventura.
