It sounds like construction and leasing for Shops at Brickell City Centre are ahead of schedule. Swire Properties has announced that the retail component of the 9.1 acre mixed-use development will officially open in November of this year. In a press release last month, Swire and retail co-developers Simon Property Group and Whitman Family Development announced they have signed 11 additional retailers, including Hugo Boss, Tommy Bahama and Lafayette 148.
“We’ve strived to make a positive, long-term impact in all aspects of BCC’s retail center,” said Debora Overholt, vice president of retail at Swire Properties. “Not only are we bringing a mix of both beloved and new brands to an under-served market in Miami, but the shopping center will be creating thousands of jobs for our local community.”
