Biscayne Green – Last Hoorah – Tonight

January 26, 2017 by MelanieDawn Leave a Comment

All good things must come to an end… at least temporarily. Tonight is the last night of the Biscayne Green pop-up park on Biscayne Boulevard in downtown Miami. So come on out for the Last Hoorah from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Live music by the GRAMMY-nominated local powerhouses PALO! and an opening set by the beloved, Patrick & The Swayzees. Enjoy succulent specialties by Miami’s best eateries like DoggyStyle Miami Hot Dogs, PINCH MIAMI, Box of Chacos, The Salty Donut- Artisanal Donut Shoppe & Coffee Bar, Viv’s little waffle shoppe interactive activations and artisanal pop-ups from Zoom Bloomz, Purveyors of Preservation, Pérez Art Museum Miami, My Inner Master, Must Love Hats, WARIMBA, and of course, hand-crafted cocktails by Mac’s Pubs.

Earlier events at Biscayne Green have included Sunday night movie nights with Biscayne Screen, a Puppy Brunch, several concerts, Wednesday morning co-working events, and – of course – delicious food events.

Designed as an ‘urban intervention,’ the Biscayne Green demonstration project will repurpose a segment of Downtown’s signature thoroughfare, transforming surface parking lots into public open space with the hopes to engage the Downtown community and invite them to experience the Boulevard in a different way, bringing activity to city streets at a time when pedestrian-friendly solutions are so desperately needed.

Be sure to visit the Biscayne Green website to leave your feedback on this demonstration project. Your input and support will help make Biscayne Green a permanent part of our Downtown Miami neighborhood.
