Miami is the Happiest U.S. City for Workers

February 4, 2019 by MelanieDawn Leave a Comment

Miami is the happiest city to work in for 2019, according to data compiled by kununu. After gathering data from more than 85,000 workplaces reviewed between 2017 and 2018, Miami earned a happiness score of 3.99 out of five.

Riia O’Donnell

Kununu researchers looked at employers in the 50 biggest metropolitan areas in the U.S., and rated them by overall satisfaction, company culture, co-worker interaction, level of employer trust and employee independence. Here are the results:

Top 10 Happiest Cities to Work In

  1. Miami, Fla.
  2. Los Angeles, Calif.
  3. Raleigh, N.C.
  4. Louisville, Ky.
  5. Omaha, Neb.
  6. San Jose, Calif.
  7. Sacramento, Calif.
  8. Oklahoma City, Okla.
  9. Seattle, Wash.
  10. Fresno, California

With all due respect to Miami employers & kununu, I’m pretty sure the sun, surf, cafecito, and croquetas are the real reasons why Miami tops the list of happiest places to work.
